IN HOUSE ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Job Overview:

The Account Executive manages client requests to a high level of efficiency. They handle emails, phone calls and walk-ins from customers with a great depth of knowledge of apparel and the printing and embroidery processes. They will work closely with the General Manager and other Account Executives to communicate about current client inquiries. (This job is not a work from home or remote position)

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Full time, M-F, 40 hours/week

  • Responds to client emails in a timely, informative, and respectful manner

  • Understands the full spectrum of apparel choices to inform the client of the best garment for their order

  • Fully comprehends all print methods used to make sure the best ink is correctly handled for each job

  • Creates digital mockups for customers that accurately reflect the ink being used and the end result of the client’s requests

  • Provides accurate price quotes and invoices for clients

  • Greets walk in customers and takes organized notes so orders can be processed in a timely manner

  • Is friendly and informed to make all interactions with clients as easy as possible

  • Works closely with General Manager to make sure jobs are being scheduled in an efficient and realistic time frame

  • Offers constructive feedback to team when needed

  • Is a critical thinker and problem solver when issues arise in client interactions and between staff

  • Will assist in production when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience

  • 2 years in customer service or equivalent role

  • Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop

  • Team player and personable - a pleasant attitude and personality that melds well with our small, close knit shop culture

  • Screen printing knowledge is preferred but we will train the right candidate 

  • Strong writing skills

PRESS ASSISTANT 

Job Overview:

The Press Assistant will work within a team with the Press Operators under guidance of the Production Manager to run print jobs on our automatic M&R presses. They will learn to assist with all press related responsibilities, including loading/unloading garments, setup and breakdown of screens, mixing inks, ink color changes, cleaning squeegees and flood bars, taping screens. They will also be trained on setting up garments for printing and stacking garments once the print is completed.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Full time, M-F, 40 hours/week

  • Assist with printing as a press team on an automatic M&R press

  • Unloading garments off the press

  • Assist the Press Operator with registering multi-color print jobs

  • Mixing inks using the Pantone Matching System recipes

  • Taping screens

  • Cleaning the press and print production area

  • An eye for quality control and attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to stick to hard deadlines and stay organized

  • Must be able to take direction from Press Operators and Production Manager

  • Stacking and folding shirts

  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Participation in weekly shop cleaning duties

  • Assisting with press maintenance

  • Assist with heat press when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience screen printing, ideally in a commercial shop environment

  • Knowledge of automatic presses a plus, but willing to train the right candidate

  • A willingness to learn their way around our shop and production procedures

  • A love of repetition and repetitive tasks in general

  • Team player and personable - a pleasant attitude and personality that melds well with our small, close knit shop culture

PRESS OPERATOR

Job Overview:

The Press Operator will work within our print teams under direction of the Production Manager to run apparel jobs on our automatic M&R presses. Daily tasks will include registering jobs, breakdown after an order is finished, mixing inks, ink color changes, cleaning squeegees and flood bars, loading and unloading garments, staging and stacking shirts.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday

  • Work within a press team on an automatic M&R press

  • Accurately loading and unloading garments off the press

  • Register multi-color print jobs using the tri-lock system

  • Setup and breakdown of screens and inks on press

  • Cleaning ink off squeegees, flood bars, and screens

  • Mixing inks using the Pantone Matching System recipes

  • Cleaning the press and print production area

  • Follow the production schedule and production mockups as provided

  • Must have all prints approved by the sales team and make changes as requested

  • Equally share responsibilities with other members of press teams

  • Must be able to take direction from Production Manager

  • An eye for quality control and attention to detail

  • Must be able to work in a fast paced environment

  • Ability to stick to hard deadlines and stay organized

  • Assist with staging garments for printing, and stacking garments after they have been printed

  • Working with press assistant to ensure they understand workings of the press and our production systems, assisting with training when appropriate

  • Ability to stand for several hours at a time

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

  • Participation in weekly shop cleaning duties and press maintenance

  • Assist with heat press orders

  • Ability to help in all aspects of production, which may other departments when needed

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience

  • 1 - 2 years of experience screen printing in a commercial shop environment on an automatic press

  • A willingness to learn their way around our shop and production procedures
