Please check out our policies that pertain to your order.

 

Standard Pricing

Included in our standard pricing package for screen printing:

  • A digital mockup with a high quality digital art file provided by the customer shown as it will be printed.

  • Up to three edits on the digital mockup

  • Pantone color matching

  • Bulk folding in dozens by size

  • About a two week turnaround time from invoicing

Turnaround Time for Orders

We usually have a turnaround time of about two weeks for print jobs from the time that you approve your invoice. This is standard, but subject to change. We will inform you if the turnaround time is longer in our busy season. If you have a specific due date that you need to have your project in hands by, please let us know this in your initial contact. If you need your order sooner than our typical two week turnaround, a rush fee may apply (see below). We will do our best to meet your due dates, but we cannot be held responsible for unforseen interruptions due to weather, vendor errors, shipping errors, or backordered garments. If we know in advance that something in your order is out of stock or on backorder, we will notify you to make changes to the order.

Payment

We request that you pay at least 50% when you approve your invoice. The remainder can be paid at or before pickup if you are not a customer with Net Terms. You can pay through the payment link we send you digitally, with a card at pickup, or by check via mail or at pickup.

Your final invoice will reflect the quantity shipped or ready at pickup. There may be small changes to the total amount of garments due to shipping inaccuracies, garment flaws, or on press errors. We consider this part of normal printing fluxuations, but if you need any of the sizes replaced, let us know and we can order more and add them back on to the invoice.

Orders that are late on payment for more than 10 days after pickup date will have a $50 late fee added to the invoice, plus interest of 2% per month going back to the date of the invoice.

Rush Orders

If you need to have your order completed faster than our normal turnaround time, your order may be subject to a rush fee. Let us know when your due date is, and we will see if it is possible for the blank garments to arrive in time to meet your rush job. 

If you want your order 1 day earlier than we can fit into our standard schedule, it is a 10% rush fee, with a minimum fee of $30.

If you want your order 2 days earlier, it is a 20% rush fee.

3 days earlier, 30% rush fee.

4 days earlier, 40% rush fee.

5 days earlier, 50% rush fee.

6 days earlier, 60% rush fee.

7 days earlier, 70% rush fee.

Art Files and Design Charges

We prefer to have your artwork as an Adobe Illustrator or vector file. When this is not possible, please send us the best quality file you have. JPEG images should be at least 300 dpi. If your art file is of poor quality, we may need to recreate the image. This will be a $30 art fee. If you give us a drawing, photograph, old tee shirt, or any other non-digitized type of art, that will also be a $30 art fee.

Approval of Mockup

After receiving your artwork, we will make you a digital mockup depicting your design on the garment or product on which it will be printed. This mockup must be approved online. Check for color, spelling, placement, etc. Included in the standard pricing are up to 3 additional edits to the mockup. Any edits beyond that will be subject to a $30 art fee. We are not responsible for mistakes on mockups that have been approved by the customer online.

Quality Control

We do our best to inspect the blank garments that come in, but New Duds is not responsible for garment inconsistencies or defects that come from the manufacturer. We recommend high quality brands that tend to have fewer defects, but we cannot place a guarantee on each garment. We will also not be responsible for you (or your coworker, boss, family member, friend, etc.) liking the fit, feel, or way the print looks. If you want to see samples of garments in person, you can come to our workshop Monday through Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. If you have a specific garment you want to see in person, blank samples are available for purchase. We do not normally do printed samples, but if this is a must for your project, we can discuss it and work out a price.

Printing

Our minimum order size is 12 pieces. This can be a combination of sizes and styles, as long as they all have the same exact print in the same color.

Laundry care instructions for maximum longevity: machine wash cold, tumble dry low, do not iron directly onto prints.

We can mix specific Pantone colors for your print job. Please let us know before you approve the mockup if you have a specific Pantone color we should note. If you do not, we will do our best to screen match the color to your approved digital mockup color.

If you want to change the ink color in your design, there is a $10 color change fee per screen. You must order a minimum of 12 in each color combination.

Shipping

We can ship via USPS and UPS and freight. Shipping time is not usually included in your order turnaround time, so let us know if a shipped order needs to arrive by a specific date. Shipping costs will be estimated on your invoice and adjusted if needed once we weigh the final package. Our orders are packed by size and stacked in dozens. If your order is shipped please check it right away and notify us within 72 hours if there are any issues. We cannot be responsible for problems with your order or shipment after this timeframe.

Social Media

We often share photos of orders and happenings around the shop on social media, especially our Instagram, @newduds, as well as on our website. Please notify us by the time you approve your order if you do NOT want images of your print project shared on the internet. If you do not notify us, we will assume that we have permission to post our photos of your project online.

We stand behind all the work we do here, so if there is a mistake or problem not addressed in these policies, please contact us within 72 hours of receiving your order and we will do our best to reprint or replace it after discussion.
